Agreeing to these terms

Using compareglp.org means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

By using the site you confirm that you are at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are using it for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these terms.

The site is published under its own name, compareglp, at compareglp.org. Below, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean compareglp.

These terms can change. When they do, the effective date at the top moves, and using the site after that date means accepting the new version.

What this site is, and what it is not

compareglp publishes comparisons of telehealth companies that prescribe GLP-1 medications. It is an information site.

It is not a pharmacy, a clinic, a telehealth provider, or an insurer. It does not prescribe, dispense, ship, or sell medication, and it holds no part in any transaction between you and a company you reach through it.

Using the site creates no clinician-patient relationship of any kind, with anyone.

No medical advice

Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Do not start, stop, or change a medication based on anything you read here.

Talk to a prescriber who knows your history before acting on any of it.

If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number rather than reading a website.

Accuracy, and how quickly it decays

Prices, state coverage, program terms, and product availability in this market change often, sometimes weekly.

Every figure here carries the date it was read and a link to where it came from, so you can check it at the source before acting on it. Check it.

The site is provided as it is. Nothing here promises that a given figure is current at the moment you read it.

Links out, and commercial relationships

Links to other companies go to sites we do not control. Their content, terms, privacy practices, pricing, and products are theirs, and they can change without any notice to us.

A link is not an endorsement, not a recommendation to buy, and not a warranty about the company at the other end.

Some outbound links can pay us a commission. Disclosure explains that in full, including what a commission cannot buy.

Before you buy from any company reached through this site, confirm its pricing, availability, licensing, shipping, and cancellation terms with that company directly.

Acceptable use

Use the site to read it. Do not scrape it in bulk, republish its boards or scores, resell its content, or present its work as your own.

Do not interfere with the site or attempt to reach parts of it that are not published.

Do not use the compareglp name, or anything that looks like it, in a way that suggests we endorse or rank you. Trademarks covers that in detail.

Ownership of the content

The text, comparisons, scores, tables, and design of this site belong to compareglp, except for material identified as belonging to someone else. United States and international copyright and trademark law protect them.

You may read, download, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, as long as you leave every notice on them intact.

Provider names, logos, and medication brand names belong to their own owners and appear here only to identify what is being compared. Their appearance implies no affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship from those companies unless we say otherwise.

Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome. Copying a board or a review wholesale is not.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We make no warranty that the site will meet your requirements, or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

We make no warranty that pricing, availability, program terms, clinical claims, or any other provider data will be accurate or current, or that defects will be corrected.

Provider pricing and product offerings change frequently. Verify every material detail directly with the company before acting on it.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COMPAREGLP, ITS CONTRIBUTORS, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, PERSONAL INJURY, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

That covers losses arising from a decision made on the strength of information here, from a transaction with a company you reached through here, and from any product or service that company provides.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law permits.

In no event does our aggregate liability to you, for all claims arising out of or related to the site, exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless compareglp and its contributors from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees.

That covers claims arising from your access to or use of the site, your breach of these terms, and your violation of anyone else's rights, including an intellectual property or privacy right.

Ending access

We can change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, including removing a page or a company from it.

We can also block access to anyone who breaks the acceptable use section above.

The parts of these terms that should outlast your access do: ownership, the warranty disclaimer, indemnification, the limitation of liability, and governing law.

Governing law and venue

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

You and compareglp agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute not resolved informally is the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section removes the protection of a mandatory consumer-protection law of your state of residence, or your right to bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

Before filing a claim, write to hello@compareglp.org so we can try to settle it informally. Either party can still seek relief in a court of competent jurisdiction where that is not possible.

If part of this is unenforceable

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and the unenforceable part is limited to the smallest extent needed to make it valid.

A failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.

These terms, with the pages they reference, are the whole agreement between you and us about using this site.
