Our assessment

altRx is easier to compare now that its website names pharmacy partners, describes included care and publishes prices for both compounded and brand-name options. The main buying decision is less straightforward: a monthly headline can sit alongside a longer prepaid plan, and canceling generally does not recover money already paid. Read the plan total and refund terms before submitting payment. The FDA warning letter also remains an important part of this review.

Five listed options, with different costs and products

The public product pages list compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide alongside Ozempic, Wegovy and Zepbound. The comparison above uses those individual pages, rather than assuming the homepage starting price applies to every option.

The compounded options are presented as multi-dose vials; the brand-name options are pens. A lower price does not make a compounded preparation interchangeable with an FDA-approved product. Confirm the prescribed medication, dose, dispensing pharmacy and supply before accepting a plan.

The Ozempic page distinguishes its diabetes indication from off-label weight-management prescribing. Ask the clinician which treatment is appropriate for you rather than choosing solely by the smallest advertised figure.

Separate the promotion from the plan price

The SAVE15 offer observed on October 7 had an October 12 deadline and is no longer treated as an available discount. Compare the published plan price with the total shown at checkout rather than deducting that expired promotion.

Before paying, save the checkout details showing the supply length, full amount charged now, renewal date and later charges. This matters particularly if you choose a multi-month option: an equivalent monthly figure can obscure a larger upfront commitment.

The care and pharmacy information is more useful now

The current homepage says there is no separate membership fee and describes consultations, a care plan, appropriate prescription fulfillment and shipping as included. That resolves the earlier uncertainty about an additional unpublished membership charge.

Its FAQ identifies RedRock Pharmacy, Health Warehouse, Precision Medicine and Triad Rx. Ask which pharmacy will actually dispense your prescription; a network list is not an assignment to a particular pharmacy.

Membership is advertised across all fifty states, with clinical availability dependent on state licensing. The care-team section also names clinicians, although that does not establish who will be assigned to you.

Cancellation is not a refund

The policy requires cancellation at least seventy-two hours before the next billing date to prevent that charge. A later request takes effect after the following paid cycle. Support or the patient portal handles cancellation.

Payments are generally final at purchase, including unused portions of multi-month plans. Canceling stops a future renewal; it does not normally return the money for the term you already bought.

The medical-disqualification exception can return the unused portion if the provider determines you are ineligible, after deducting services already provided. It is not a general satisfaction guarantee. Read this policy before payment even if the homepage’s cancellation language sounds flexible.

Keep the FDA letter in the decision

The existing FDA record includes a June 2026 warning letter addressed to Trinity Healthcare Supply LLC, doing business as altRx, concerning false and misleading claims and misbranding. The linked letter should be read directly rather than treated as a review score or proof of the outcome of an individual patient’s care.

We retained that disclosure when updating the commercial details. New prices or a more informative homepage do not, by themselves, establish that a regulatory concern has been resolved.
