The membership does not buy the medicine
The page describes an evaluation first — lab work included, a provider evaluation of stated length — charged once. Then, if a patient continues, a membership covering ongoing prescriptions, monitoring and protocol adjustments. And then, in the same paragraph, the sentence that matters: the medication cost is separate and varies.
Placing that membership figure beside an all-in monthly rate from a compounding telehealth seller would compare a supervision fee with a supervision fee plus a drug. We have marked it as excluding medication in the underlying data, so no tool on this site can add it up as though it were a month's supply.
What is not published
The medication cost is never given a range, a floor or an example. A reader therefore cannot compute a monthly total from anything on the page — they know what the oversight costs and nothing about the largest line in the bill.
That is a real gap and it is worth naming as one. It is also, in fairness, more honest than a seller who quotes an all-in figure that turns out to have a dispensing fee attached.
One state, and a pharmacy benefit that is not a pharmacy
Its own statistics block gives its coverage as one state, statewide, by telehealth. That is an unusually narrow footprint for a site that reads like a national platform, and it is stated rather than buried.
It also runs a pharmacy-benefit programme — a free-medication formulary and a retail discount card at a large network of pharmacies — which is a different thing from naming the compounding pharmacy that would fill a GLP-1 prescription. No compounding pharmacy is named, and no individual prescribing clinician is either.
