Our assessment

Tonik Wellness publishes three plan terms for each drug with both the per-month rate and the amount actually billed, and every one of those six totals adds up exactly. One thing to know before you get excited: its semaglutide product page prints a price and, directly beneath it, an out-of-stock notice.

Six figures, six totals, all consistent

Each drug gets a month-to-month rate, a quarterly rate with the amount billed every three months, and an annual rate with the amount billed yearly. Multiply each per-month rate by its term and you get the stated total exactly, on all six.

Publishing the billed amount rather than only the implied monthly figure lets you see the size of the charge that will actually land. Several sellers publish one and not the other.

The plan table also itemizes what the figure covers, down to the injection supplies and the patient portal.

A price you can read and a product you can't buy

The semaglutide product page prints the annual rate as an as-low-as figure and then says the product is out of stock and not available in that quantity.

The price is real and it is Tonik's own. It just isn't currently purchasable.

The two pages also lead with different numbers. The product page headline is the annual rate; the plan table leads with the month-to-month rate, which is substantially higher. Which figure you meet first depends on where you land.

A named company and a stated formulation

The privacy policy names the operating limited liability company with a street address, and the product page says the medication is compounded rather than leaving you to work it out.

The plan table says nothing about a membership either way. One hundred and eighty-two of the four hundred and twenty sellers here leave that unanswered too.

No compounding pharmacy is named, no individual clinician is named, and no service area is published.
