Our assessment

Elara names four compounding pharmacies and the city each one sits in, on the same page as its prices. Ninety-four of the four hundred and twenty sellers here name a compounding pharmacy at all, and naming four with their towns puts this one near the top of that group. It answers the coverage question with a service area rather than a licensing claim, prices an oral tablet beside the injection for both molecules, and prints the annual billed total next to every per-month figure. Its weakness is that only the annual rate is priced.

Four pharmacies, by name and by city

The pricing page carries a sentence naming its partner compounding pharmacies with the town and state of each: four of them, in four different states. The same sentence appears again in the notice of privacy practices.

This is the single most useful disclosure a compounded seller can make, and hardly anyone makes it. Three hundred and twenty-six of the four hundred and twenty sellers here name none at all, and most of those give you a licensing class instead, a 503A or a 503B, which is nothing you can look up.

Be clear about what naming a pharmacy does and doesn't prove. It doesn't make a compounded preparation an approved product, and the page says so. It does mean you can look up the dispensing facility, which is the difference between a supply chain and an assurance.

The coverage answer is a coverage answer

Its own FAQ asks whether it ships to your state and answers that it is available in all fifty states plus the District of Columbia, subject to change, and that every physician is licensed. That is a statement about where the service is sold.

Several sellers print a fifty-states line that turns out, read to the end, to describe where their providers hold licenses. That is a different claim. Eighty-four of the four hundred and twenty sellers here publish a fifty-state service area, and this is one of them.

Everything is priced annually

Three products are priced: an injectable semaglutide, an oral semaglutide tablet and a tirzepatide sold as injection or oral at one rate. Each carries a per-month figure, an annual billed total, and a stated saving against the monthly plan.

The catch is that the monthly plan isn't priced. Four commitment lengths are named across the grid and only the annual one has a number. So the page is precise about the cheapest thing it sells and silent about the most flexible.

Its comparison table is the other good thing here. Line by line, it sets out what the plan figure includes against what it says a typical telehealth service bills separately, and it puts the medication, the visits, quarterly labs and a coach inside the figure.
