Our assessment
Optimized Health is a clinic with a street address that also advertises telehealth in four other states. It publishes three semaglutide dose tiers and names the physician assistant providing care. The tirzepatide program is also tiered, but only its starting price is published, leaving maintenance costs unclear.
A ladder on one drug, a floor on the other
The semaglutide page states its tiers explicitly and repeats them in prose: the program starts at the lowest tier, with two higher tiers named. Each tier includes the medication, the clinical supervision and the shipping in one figure.
The tirzepatide page uses the same model, saying pricing is dose-tiered and the monthly rate is set by the prescribed dose, then names no rung above the first. Its own sentence says the rate will be confirmed before you begin. That is honest, and it is also an admission that the ladder isn't published.
If you're weighing the two drugs against each other, that gap matters. One lane tells you what maintenance costs. The other doesn't.
One prescriber, named, with his licensure
The semaglutide page carries a short biography of the prescribing clinician, states his credential and experience, says every protocol, adjustment and follow-up runs through him directly, and lists the state he is licensed in plus the four he holds telehealth coverage for.
That last detail is the state list, and it matches the About page's two separate statements of the same five states. Three surfaces, one answer, which is rarer than it should be.
Cash-pay, and clear about what's extra
This is a cash-pay practice with no insurance billing, no prior authorizations, and health-savings accounts accepted. The monthly figure covers medication, clinician oversight, dose adjustments and shipping, and the pages say plainly that lab work is billed separately when clinically indicated.
The brand route is described too. The practice will prescribe the FDA-approved products, you pay the pharmacy directly for the drug, and the clinical supervision is charged as a first-visit fee and a follow-up fee. No brand medication price is published, because the practice doesn't set one.
The one silence is membership. The word appears on none of the priced pages. What they say is no contracts and no hidden fees, which is about commitment, not about a recurring charge.
Read the pill figures carefully
Several numbers on these pages describe an oral brand product's own pricing: a starter figure, a rise scheduled for a named month, a higher maintenance figure. Those belong to a manufacturer, not to this practice, and the pages mix them into the same answers as their own figures.
The practice's own money is the compounded program and a supervision fee. Those are the two things to compare.

Good fit if
- Readers in Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Utah or Washington who want a named prescriber.
- Buyers who want the cost of titrating up published rather than discovered later, at least on one of the two drugs.
- People who want a cash-pay practice that says out loud what is billed separately.
Look elsewhere if
- Anyone outside its five states.
- Buyers who want the tirzepatide ladder published rather than confirmed later.
- Readers who want the compounding pharmacy named, or a brand medication price rather than a supervision fee.
What stands out about Optimized Health
Strengths
- Prints its semaglutide dose tiers as three named figures, so the cost of titrating up is on the page rather than discovered later
- Names its one prescribing clinician and says every protocol and follow-up runs through him
- States its telehealth footprint state by state, twice, and separates it from the services that need an in-person visit
- Says what the monthly figure covers — medication, clinical supervision and shipping — and what it does not: "Lab work is billed separately when clinically indicated"
- Publishes its street address and describes itself as a cash-pay practice with no insurance billing
Trade-offs
- The tirzepatide program is dose-tiered like the semaglutide one but publishes only its floor, so its ladder is invisible
- Says nothing about a membership fee on any of its priced pages
- Names no compounding pharmacy
- Offers the brand products but publishes no brand medication price — the drug is billed by the pharmacy and only the supervision fee is stated
- Several of the pill figures quoted on its pages are a manufacturer's prices, not the practice's own, and the pages mix the two in the same answer
How this review was verified
- The semaglutide, tirzepatide, medical weight loss and about pages were read.
- The semaglutide page states its three tiers in three places, and the figures agree across all three.
- The tirzepatide page names one tier only, and says the rate will be confirmed before treatment begins.
- The same five states appear in three places: the prescriber biography and two answers on the About page.
- The word membership appears on none of the three priced pages.
- Some pill figures on these pages belong to an oral brand product's manufacturer, not to this practice.

Frequently asked questions
Which states does it serve?
Five, named identically in three places: an in-clinic state in Missouri plus telehealth in Iowa, Kansas, Utah and Washington.
Is the price dose-tiered?
Yes on both drugs. The semaglutide page names all three tiers. The tirzepatide page names only its starting tier and says the rate will be confirmed before treatment begins.
What does the monthly figure cover?
The medication, clinician oversight, dose adjustments and shipping. Lab work is billed separately when clinically indicated.
Is there a membership fee?
Not stated. The pages say no contracts and no hidden fees, and never address a membership either way.
Can it prescribe the brand medication?
Yes. You pay the pharmacy directly for the drug, and the practice charges a first-visit and a follow-up supervision fee. It publishes no brand medication price.
